I love, think of, miss, want the best for, etc. for you.

I hope you are enjoying this summer. That you are having fun. That you are getting ready for another school year. That you are healthy. That you laugh. That you read. That you mind you mother and let her know how much you love her. That you never hesitate to use the passions, and talents, that you have. That you always try. No one in this world is like you and you truly are a miracle child.That you let your Uncle, Brothers, Grandpa, and Grandma how much they mean to you. And that you know that you are loved to infinity.

I will this day as I do all days and that is waking up praying for you and go to sleep praying for and our family and in some cases (i.e. I love all my children and this sentence is ONLY to include their own families) their spouses and children.

No matter how old you become you will forever be my little girl, and like all of my children, one of the greatest loves of my life as well as a, in many ways, lifelong blessing.

Weekend wishes

Love to all my family, friends, loved ones, etc.

May you enjoy this weekend and time spent with those you care about.

I hope my children, and grandchildren, are all; in good health, happy, successful, thankful for the love they have for others and others have for them, reading the Bible and having their own relationship with God/Jesus for the time on this earth is fleeting, working hard, and enjoying new things and things that make them happy.

I am very blessed that the mother of my children loves, and cares for, them so. That I hold their mothers family in the greatest of regards and my children are blessed to have them in their lives. That each of my children have a plethora of talents. They work hard. They are passionate. I love them near and afar. It is my prayer that there will come the opportunity of travel allows me time to tell them. Nonetheless I am proud of them individually and collectively for they are my heart, my blood, and my greatest loves. I wish them the best in life…always.

The inspiration of (nighttime) dreams

There are many types of dreams but only those,which occur in the middle of the night, were made by divine design. These are the types of dreams where our body is at rest and our minds, as studies have shown, are allowed to take us to great heights – to places we have never seen – to scenarios we would never have imagined. 

Once in a while we receive dreams of real life situations, or of what lies ahead, and the hope for a better tomorrow. 

In rare occasions we receive a dream that seems 100% real so much so that we, even when tossing and turning, don’t want to wake up from. These dreams refresh our souls and stay with us throughout the days and sometimes…longer.

If you ever get the type of dreams that combine dreams of real life situations, and seem 100% real, it (literally) creates inspiration.

I was fortunate enough to have one of those rare combination dreams lately and I am thankful. 

I don’t know the steps to take to have this dream, even remotely, come to fruition but I do know that I have been on a path, and will continue to do so, that is not made of dreams but of; hard work, consistency, stability, and staying true to my heart and the things I value. 

This dream was not about me as much as it was about making the dreams, and needs, of those I care about come true. Not just to come through for  a few days. Not just to come through for a few years. But substantial hard won and fruitful improvements that will continue to benefit them, individually and collectively, for the rest of their lives.

For as of this moment, due to geographical location and the mistakes and damage of days past, I know not what my future holds. But what I do know is that even in times of hurt, of sorrow, of wanting to make things right, of desiring to have conversations that will be beneficial, and God willing to do the very best under whatever time and/or scenario(s) are warranted.

A man with a plan, with a dream, and doing everything he can (and has) to admit his mistakes and to self improve (in important and necessary ways) has, at a minimum, a good starting point. 

Looking back had I of taken the course, that I have these past years, earlier – when I had the chance – I wouldn’t have to dream. But, when one is part of a nightmare comprised of ones past decisions and actions the choices are two. The first is to cast blame upon others. The other is the choice/decision that I made and that is, even at my AARP qualified age, to take responsibility and pray for the, knowing it may not ever occur, opportunity for redemption and resolution.

For in doing this one can not only have peaceful dreams but a reality and allows for true rest and happiness that is not fleeting but everlasting. I may not deserve happiness, and I live with that possibility/reality much of the time, but I owe it to others to be a part of ensuring that they are truly happy, fulfilled, and able to achieve their own…dreams.
